W238 - 50" Navajo "Throwing" Arrows - Artist: Tim Largo; 432 125 - Description: This is a very simple "throwing" arrow and was used by itself to throw at predators. The Navajo arrow is made from wood and has a stone arrow head, which is cream in color, and has brown tail feathers. The middle of the arrow is bound in buckskin and has three blue glass beads, one orange glass bead, and one black bead. On either end of the buckskin is white rabbit fur. Hanging below the rabbit fur are strips of buckskin, a brown feather, two black beads, and one clear bead. The Navajo "throwing" arrow measures 50" long. This Native American creation comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
