JS004 - Necklace, Pin & Earrings Set - (This set can not be separated.) - Artist: Earnest Benally - Description: These pieces were crafted by famous Native American artist Ernest Benally and decorated with designs and symbols important to the Native American culture. The Turquoise and Sterling Silver necklace has an assortment of Lone Mountain Turquoise nuggets, which are separated by six Sterling Silver beads. The length of the necklace is 20 ¼" long, with a custom engraved clasp. The Sterling Silver clasp has E. Benally's signature and his highly recognizable "hogan" symbol stamped in to it. In the center of the necklace, is an exquisite, high luster Sterling Silver bear, which is stamped with Native American symbols and a circle of Lone Mountain Turquoise, which measures 5/8" in diameter and 3/8" thick. Located in the circle is a Zuni Sun Face made out of Red Mediterranean coral, Malachite, and Lapis Luzuli. The Sun Face is ¼" in diameter. The bear is known to bring protection to whoever wears it, and it measures 3" long and 2" wide. The bail is stamped with similar Native American symbols. The loop that connects the necklace and naja (centerpiece) has two Sterling Silver feathers with a small Turquoise bead. The creativeness of this pendent is, it can be removed from the bail and worn as a pin! There is a built-in pin on the backside, so the bear can be worn by itself. The necklace pendent and earrings are stamped E. Benally and SS on the back for your protection. The decorative earrings are identical to the pendent. The same symbols and even the feathers are on the 1 ¼" long and ¾" wide pierced earrings. The only difference is instead of having a Sun Face in the Turquoise circle, there is a Red Mediterranean Coral bear paw print on it. The earrings are stamped SS on the back for your protection. These too, have high luster and are a "must have" for your collection. The elegant jewelry set will add color and style to any apparel that you will wear. This Benally jewelry will be a guaranteed conversation piece at any outing you attend!
