HH004c - Small Bison Horse Hair Pottery - Artist: T. Vail; Navajo 404 237 - Description: Horsehair pottery is made like normal pottery except on the last firing they bake on real horsehair. When it is done they paint on a gloss, which makes it shine. There is a Sun-face and other designs etched onto the sides, as well as eyes and horns. This bison measures 4" tall, 9 ½" wide, and has a depth of 1". This Native American creation comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
