A004 - 25" Antler Peace Pipe - Artist: LaNeAyo, Creek Tribe; 365-97 - Description: This Antler Horn Peace Pipe is a beautiful creation using a Parasite Wood Carving to decorate it. This Pipe measures 25" long and is decorated with beads, black rabbit fur and feathers. Near the bowl is a carving of a Cougar using “Parasite Wood". Parasite wood comes from the branches of the Jampinis Tree . The branches become infected with a parasite, which causes a burl- like formation. The artists cut them off and use them for their carvings. The Cougar measures 6" long and stretches out past the Antler Horn bowl at the end of the pipe.
